Program Overview 

The Father/Daughter Challenge is not a time to retreat. Fathers and daughters will experience epic whitewater rafting and hiking where inspiration, adventure and challenge forge a deep spiritual experience. Men and their daughters will be strengthened in their relationships and their understanding of their unique roles in God's Kingdom.

 

As they share and play together, fathers will see their daughters in a new light. Daughters will experience the love of their father in a unique and powerful way. Together fathers and daughters will discover important lessons about God’s intended purpose for their lives. Through physical, emotional and spiritual adventures, breakthrough occurs.


The end result...fathers and daughters will return home with lasting impressions of an adventure that has given them new insights into their lives and their relationship with one another and with God. Choices were made, identity was discovered and they can no longer be the same.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Location: West Virginia

Date: July 11-14, 2024

Age Range for Daughters: 14-19 yrs old

Cost: $695

Max Participants: 20 father/daughter pairs

Start: Thursday, July 11, 2024 between 6:00pm-7:00pm (EST)

Finish: Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 12:00pm (EST)
Activities: Whitewater rafting, hiking
Transportation: Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event.

  • West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW), Charleston, WV - 1 hour.
  • Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), Roanoke, VA - 2.5 hours
  • John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), Columbus, OH - 3.5 hours.

  • Who can join the Father/Daughter Challenge?

    The Father/Daughter Challenge is for fathers and their 14-19 year-old daughter. 


    Though the Father/Daughter Weekend will be a great time for bonding and relationship building, it is not a retreat. Waterwater rafting and hiking are big part of your adventure. 


    Fathers and daughters will discover their capacity to embrace the challenge and do more together. 

  • Can I bring more than one daughter?

    The Father/Daughter Challenge is designed for a father and one daughter to experience together. The program is designed in such a way that you will need to give your full attention to only one daughter at a time.

  • How much does it cost?

    Cost $695

    This cost includes everything that is needed for your Father/Daughter experience excluding the items on your pack list and transportation to and from the event.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    REGISTRATION & PAYMENT POLICY FOR 4MUS EVENTS. Deposit or full payment is due at time of registration in order to secure a participant’s spot. By registering for a 4MUS event, you are assuming financial responsibility for the trip and are authorizing 4MUS to contract with third-party vendors and purchase food and supplies needed for the event on your behalf.


    FINAL PAYMENT

    Due 45 days prior to the Father/Daughter Challenge.


    REFUND & PARTICIPANT CANCELLATION POLICY - 45 DAYS OR MORE

    If a Father/Daughter Challenge team cancels 45 days or more from the event start date, they may choose to receive a refund minus a $100 cancelation fee.


    REFUND & PARTICIPANT CANCELLATION POLICY - LESS THAN 45 DAYS

    If a Father/Daughter team cancels less than 45 days prior to the event start date, $400 is non-refundable due to logistics and payments to third parties. If you choose to participate within one calendar year from the event start date and for the exact same event location, you will receive a $150 credit to your account.


    FATHER/DAUGHTER CHALLENGE CANCELLATION

    If 4M must cancel an event for any reason, all registrants will receive a full refund of fees. Participants can also transfer their funds to a future Father/Daughter Challenge. 4M or any of its event partners are not and will not be held responsible for the reimbursement of costs incurred due to travel expenses for the event (for example: cancellation/flight change fees or rental fees for traveling to or from the event.)


    ALL cancellations MUST be in writing and emailed to info@4mus.org. Cancellations are not accepted over the phone, via other participants, or via Telegram. If no email communication is received before the start of the scheduled Father/Daughter Challenge, participants are considered a NO SHOW and no refunds or transfers will be allowed. Payment will be applied to the ongoing ministry efforts of 4MUS.


    NO SHOW POLICY:

    A participant is considered a “No Show” if:

    - Participant does not show up for the start of the event.

    - Participant has not sent an email to info@4mus.org prior to the start of the event to inform of cancellation.

    - If a Participant is a “No Show” all funds will be applied to the ongoing ministry efforts for 4MUS. Funds are not eligible for transfer or refund.

  • What do I need to bring?

    Pack List

    We have a very specific pack list for you to follow.  You are allowed to ONLY bring what is on the pack list.  We encourage men to borrow or share equipment.
