Program Overview 

The Father & Daughter Challenge is not a time to retreat. Fathers and daughters will experience epic whitewater rafting and hiking where inspiration, adventure and challenge forge a deep spiritual experience. Men and their daughters will be strengthened in their relationships and their understanding of their unique roles in God's Kingdom.

 

As they share and play together, fathers will see their daughters in a new light. Daughters will experience the love of their father in a unique and powerful way. Together fathers and daughters will discover important lessons about God’s intended purpose for their lives. Through physical, emotional and spiritual adventures, breakthrough occurs.


The end result...fathers and daughters will return home with lasting impressions of an adventure that has given them new insights into their lives and their relationship with one another and with God. Choices were made, identity was discovered and they can no longer be the same.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Location: West Virginia

Date: July 10-13, 2025

Age Range for Daughters: 14-19 yrs old

Cost: $795 (see FAQ's for payment options)

Max Participants: 25 father & daughter pairs

Start: Thursday, July 10, 2025 between 6:00pm-7:00pm (EST)

Finish:  Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 12:00pm (EST)
Activities: Whitewater rafting, hiking
Transportation:  Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event.

  • West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW), Charleston, WV - 1.5 hour.
  • Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), Roanoke, VA - 2.75 hours.
  • Pittsburg International Airport (PIT), Pittsburg, PA - 3.75 hours.
  • Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Charlotte, NC - 3.75 hours.


**All travel times listed are without traffic or delays. Please allow for extra travel time as needed.

  • Who can join the Father & Daughter Challenge?

    The Father & Daughter Challenge is for fathers and their 14-19 year-old daughter. 


    Though the Father & Daughter Weekend will be a great time for bonding and relationship building, it is not a retreat. Waterwater rafting and hiking are big part of your adventure. 


    Fathers and daughters will discover their capacity to embrace the challenge and do more together. 

  • Can I bring more than one daughter?

    The Father & Daughter Challenge is designed for a father and one daughter to experience together. The program is designed in such a way that you will need to give your full attention to only one daughter at a time.

  • What does the Father & Daughter Challenge cost and what are the payment options?

    Total Cost: $795 per pair

    Payment Options: 


    Pay in full - at registration 

    Pay a $395 Deposit -  at registration 

    • Make a Final Payment of $400 - due by May 12, 2025 
    • *Late payment will incur a $50 late fee. 

    This cost includes everything needed for your Father & Daughter experience excluding the items on your pack list and transportation to and from the event.

  • What do I need to bring?

    Pack List

    We have a very specific pack list for you to follow.  You are allowed to ONLY bring what is on the pack list.  We encourage you to borrow or share equipment.
