GENERAL INFORMATION

MICHIGAN MARRIAGE CHALLENGE

Location: Lake Michigan

Date(s): May 15-17, 2026

              September 18-20, 2026

Cost: $575 per couple (see FAQ's for payment options)

Start: Friday at 3:00pm EST

Finish: Sunday at 12:00pm EST

Trail Experience: Trails through woods, sand, and along the lake, with a few challenging dune climbs. Enjoy beautiful lake scenery and rewarding views.


TEXAS MARRIAGE CHALLENGE

Location: Spur, Texas

Date: October 9-11, 2026

Cost: $575 per couple (see FAQ's for payment options)

Start: Friday at 3:00pm EST

Finish: Sunday at 12:00pm EST

Trail Experience: Trails with minimal elevation change. Enjoy a wide-open, West Texas landscape with awe-inspiring, endless skies.

FAQs

  • Who can join and what is the physical activity level?

    The Marriage Challenge welcomes husbands and wives who want to strengthen their relationship. While it’s not a test of physical endurance, couples will participate in daily hiking (8–12 miles in total) on varied terrain and take part in outdoor activities. Many couples enjoy preparing together by training and hiking ahead of time.

  • What do we need to bring and do we carry all our camping gear?

    You will carry a daypack throughout the weekend. When you arrive at registration, we will transport your tent and large bag to the campsite. Pack light and ensure your gear is easily to transfer.

  • What are transportation details?

    Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to/from the event. Note event Start/Finish times above. 


    Air travel & distance from airport: Times are approximate and do not include traffic or delays—please plan extra time as needed.


    Michigan Marriage Challenge

    • Grand Rapids Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), Grand Rapids, MI - 1.45 hours 
    • Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) Chicago, IL - 2 hours 

    **Please note the MC takes place in Eastern Time Zone. Chicago airports are in Central Time Zone.


    Texas Marriage Challenge 

    • Lubbock Preston Smith Int'l Airport (LBB), Lubbick, TX - 1 hour 
    • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Dallas, TX - 4 hours 

  • Will restroom facilities be available?

    The campsite includes nice restroom facilities; however, couples will also spend some time away from the campsite.

  • What does the Marriage Challenge cost and what are the payment options?

    Total Cost: $575


    Payment Options: 

    1. Pay in full at registration

    2. Pay a deposit at registration. Make a final Payment:

    • 2026 MC Michigan Spring - Full payment due at time of registration because the event is within 45 days. 

    *If paying in full at registration presents a challenge, please email finance@all4one.org. Our team will be happy to review possible options with you.

    • 2026 MC Michigan Fall - Pay a $250 deposit at registration. Make final payment of $325. Final payment due August 4, 2026. 
    • 2026 MC Texas Fall - Pay a $250 deposit at registration. Make final payment of $325. Final payment due August 25, 2026.

    *Late payment will incur a $50 late fee. 


    This cost includes everything needed for your Marriage Challenge experience excluding the items on your pack list and transportation to and from the event.
