With more than 20 years of experience leading strategic go-to-market initiatives for innovative IT services and business solution companies, Steve Garrou currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Enduvo, Inc. Enduvo is a fast-growing immersive content creation and distribution platform that focuses on education and technical training markets.
Previously, Steve was Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Solutions Development for Westcon-Comstor, a $6B global IT distributor. He directed the company’s cloud services businesses – as well as all strategy, M&A and go-to-market activity. Under his leadership, the company invested in and incubated new platforms, solutions and businesses for cloud, mobility and IoT. He created the vision and lead the transformation of Westcon-Comstor into a digital logistics powerhouse enabling partners to traverse the chasm from providing traditional IT products to innovative digital solutions.
Steve is no stranger to turning visionary strategies into compelling IT solutions that “wow” customers.
His relentless focus on understanding and translating diverse customer needs into transformative IT solutions enables him to lead teams that positively impact business performance. This approach has won him a reputation as a business leader that can improve profitability and accelerate growth for organizations ranging from early stage to Fortune 100 corporations. He is an industry veteran who has led the development and go-to-market strategies for top, innovative IT brands, including CenturyLink, Avanade/Accenture, AT&T and Unisys as well as more entrepreneurial ventures.
Steve formerly served on two corporate advisory boards - Xaptum, a Chicago based startup securing the Internet of Things (IoT) and Highland Ridge Capital, an investment banking firm focused on emerging growth companies. He is also a member of the renowned Economic Club of Chicago, which fosters meaningful connections among leaders to encourage dialogue and cultivate the next generation of civic leaders in the city.
Formerly, Steve was a member of Hyde Park Angels, one of the Midwest's largest angel investment organizations as well as the state of Illinois Governor’s Technology Advisory Board. Led by the CIO of the state, this board brings together the best minds for organizational transformation guidance, best practices and global trends, helping to make Illinois easier to work with and more efficient, accessible and competitive.
In addition to his work, Steve also has a passion for volunteering. He is an Associate Board Member of The Cradle, which provides lifetime support and adoption resources to families and children around the world. He is also active in Altrusa International, which provides foster care, educational assistance and nutritional support to children and orphanages in Jiangxi province, China.
Steve holds a B.S.B.A in Economics and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Tulsa.
